Whether you’re driving in from Monument, Black Forest, or right around the corner near the U.S. Air Force Academy and Chapel Hills, bring the whole family out for face painting, lunch from Cilantro and Lime Food Truck, and a chance to give back to local students — no sales pitch, just good times.

Free Face Painting, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Our face painter will be set up on the lot from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, turning kids into tigers, superheroes, butterflies, and just about anything else they can dream up. It’s free and there’s no sign-up required — just come find the station. Since it’s a two-hour window on a busy Saturday, plan to swing by early if you want to beat the line, and maybe keep a wet wipe handy for the ride home.

Lunch from Cilantro and Lime Food Truck

Cilantro and Lime Food Truck will be parked on the lot serving lunch, so plan to eat while you’re here. Grab a bite, find a spot in the shade, and let the kids run between the face painting station and the Telluride.

Fill the Trunk for Academy District 20

Here’s the heart of the day: we’re parking a Kia Telluride out front with the liftgate up, and we’re not closing it until the back is full. Every backpack, notebook, pencil pouch, and glue stick you drop in goes straight to Academy District 20 students who need them — so bring what you can and help us fill it to the roof.

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Colorado who are 18 years of age or older as of the entry date. Employees of Faricy Automotive and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

How to enter: Visit the Fill the Trunk Family Fun Day at Faricy Kia Colorado Springs on Saturday, August 22, 2026 and complete an entry slip at the giveaway table. Entry slips are available free to any attendee, with or without a school supply donation. Limit one entry per person. Illegible, incomplete, or duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Entry period: Entries will be accepted from until 12 PM MST on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Entries received after the close of the entry period will not be eligible.

Prize: One (1) Family Fun Package with an approximate retail value of $500. Package contents are as described at the event and are subject to substitution with an item of equal or greater value at Sponsor’s discretion. Prize is awarded as-is, with no cash equivalent and no substitution or transfer by the winner. All taxes and any expenses not specifically listed are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Drawing and notification: One winner will be selected in a random drawing held at approximately 1:00 PM MT on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Faricy Kia Colorado Springs. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified the same day using the contact information provided on their entry slip. If the winner cannot be reached after [three] reasonable attempts within [five] business days, or is found to be ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random.

Prize claim: The prize will not be shipped or delivered. The winner must claim the prize in person at Faricy Kia Colorado Springs, 1560 Auto Mall Loop, Colorado Springs, CO 80920, during normal business hours by September 5, 2026. Valid government-issued photo identification is required. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
